Overview

SEVEN SEAS is the most well updated and best equipped Sou’wester 42’ on the market. She is set up to be easily sailed by only one person with her Leisure Furl in-boom furling main, electric primary and halyard winches, custom stack pack for her mizzen main and integrated autopilot. Her Yanmar 75hp diesel engine, installed new in 2001, provides nearly double the horsepower than the standard SW 42’ engine and allows for two alternators and the running of the oversized custom Sea Frost refrigerator and freezer. Set up for extended cruising, SEVEN SEAS boasts the optional separate dinette layout that sleeps up to seven, air conditioning and heat plus all new electronics. She has nearly flawless Flag Blue topsides and exterior varnish, which was stripped and redone in 2010. SEVEN SEAS is a fine example of this McCurdy & Rhodes designed bluewater cruising yawl, built with safety, comfort and style in mind. She is one of only 63 Sou'wester 42's. Her owners have continually upgraded her and kept her in pristine shape, evidenced through multiple major refits and annual professional care.
