The Jeanneau 40 from 2004 was built to higher standards of fit and finish shown by a very nice teak interior with teak and holly cabin sole. This particular Jeanneau 40 has a three cabin layout with two full heads.
She is equipped for long range cruising with a nice genset, air conditioning and heat, NEW AGM batteries, Xantrex charger invertor, NEW mainsail, etc.
This interior is spacious and very comfortable with three double staterooms and two full heads with showers. The interior is a nice fit and finish with real teak for all trim and teak laminates on bulkheads. The layout is great for a small family, friends or living aboard. Also could be used in a small charter situation that would pay for all of your normal yearly expenses.
Coming down the companionway there is an L shaped large galley to starboard and navigation station opposite and forward of the first full head. Having the head and shower at the bottom of the companionway makes for a great place to store foul weather gear.
Galley has double stainless sink, two burner stove and oven, microwave oven and plenty of countertops and storage.
Forward of the navigation station to port is a long settee with shelves and storage behind.
Opposite the settee is a dinnette with additional cabinets and storage.
Forward the main salon of course is the V berth with an additional private full head and shower.
NEW FULL mainsail with battens and lazy jacks.
Stack pack for mainsail that makes ease of storage and furling.

The Sun Odyssey 40, designed by Daniel Andrieu, is built around a very quick hull and features exceptional space and volume inside. There is a modern look to the exterior, with twin helm stations in the aft cockpit for incredible comfort. As for the interior, the Design Office worked from the same general layout and conception as the Sun Odyssey 40DS, combining fine teak woodwork with satin varnish, in Jeanneaus finest style. The Sun Odyssey 40 is available in three interior layouts: the two-cabin has the owners cabin forward, with a large U-shaped galley; the three-cabin one-head, with one head equipped with a separate shower area, plus a large forward cabin; and the three-cabin two-head. All the layouts are considered exceptional for long-range cruising.
