Overview

This timeless Ted Hood designed classic Whisperjet has been extremely well cared for and updated in all categories over the years. The Herreshoff-style cherry interior accommodates up to four, with V-berth forward, head and galley to port and salon settee to starboard. TRAVELLER has been maintained by Hinckley Yacht Services in Oxford, Md. and is in truly “Yacht” condition and ready for her next owner.

Hull & Deck

Deep V hull design with dark blue Awlgrip topsides, painted in Feb. 2005
White coach roof, tan nonskid decks, with white and red stripes, gold cove stripe,  and red bottom paint.
Fiberglass bow sprit with anchor roller.
Stainless bow rail with flag socket and running lights.
Three (3) Lewmar anodized aluminum deck hatches, two (2) with  solar vents.
Six (6) Lewmar anodized aluminum opening ports with screens.
Four (4) stainless handrails on cabin top.
Edson folding radar mast with antennas and aft-facing deck lights.
Maxwell electric windlass in anchor locker, with deck foot switches and remote helm control pad.

Construction

Foam cored hull, utilizing bi-directional E-glass and Kevlar reinforcement and vinylester outer osmosis barrier laminations.
Deck is Balsa cored with stainless capped molded rub rails.
Fiberglass swim platform with gray non-skid pattern, and St. Croix stainless dinghy davits, mounted on transom.

Two Stidd 500-2x2 helm chairs port and starboard, with the port chair presently stored off the boat to make room for the custom teak chart table to port.
