Overview

The 48 is S&S designed, and is as formidable now as it was in 1972. DREAMCATCHER has had much money spent upgrading in recent years, with a new engine, sails and much more.

Offered to co-brokers on a commission split of 50/50.  


Broker's Comments

This Swan 48 has been family cruised and successfully raced in Bermuda races, and the Marblehead Halifax race. She was first overall in the 2013 ORR East Coast Championships and won the prestigious Olin Stephens trophy (by chance her design) in 2013 and 2014. The 48 is S&S designed, and is as formidable now as it was in 1972.

DREAMCATCHER has had much money spent upgrading in recent years, with a new engine, sails and much more.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

·         Blue awlgripped hull (2012).

·         Awlgripped GRP deck areas.

·         The teak decks were replaced in the mid 80’s, and were 50% thicker than Swan’s original.

·         The toerails have been removed and replaced with teak (2005).
