Overview

The first Sabre 34 was built in 1976. 255 were built before Sabre introduced the Sabre 34 Mark II in 1986.  Hickory Wind is hull 287 and is one of the Mark II series. She is the centerboard model with a draft of only 4', allowing her to venture into places that most boats her size are unable to go.  She was purchased by her current owners 15 years ago. They have done most of their sailing in Buzzards Bay in Massachusetts but have cruised extensively in Maine. They have maintained and upgraded Hickory Wind's systems and have made many useful additions.  Having recently purchased a powerboat, they now own two boats, and with only one mooring, Hickory Wind must go.
