Overview

With good offshore fishing capabilities and accommodations for up to six, the 290 Amberjack has a good thing going. The 290's vented chine hull design gives the boat better maneuverability at high speeds and helps deliver optimum performance.

Key features of Lazy Loon include:

A factory rebuilt port engine installed in 2017
The starboard engine was rebuilt also in 2017
Engine freshwater flush systems for both engines
Radar arch with rod holders
Anchor windlass
Livewell
Boat will be detailed 2/19
New forward berth cover currently being made
Rear transom seat to be recovered

Note: Vessel has a generator with only 9 hours. The generator has not been run in a while and will probably need extensive repair to get it running. Vessel asking price has been reduced to reflect the inoperable generator.

The 290 is a perfect day or weekend cruiser. The 290 Amberjack offers a lot of comfort and amenities. She has a good-size cockpit with a double helm seat with flip up thigh-rise bolster. The helm offers a burlwood instrument panel. The galley offers good room to work and features a dual-voltage refrigerator, microwave, fiberglass countertops with a sink and cutting board. There’s also good storage space above and below the countertops.

Owner is anxious to sell and is open to all reasonable offers

Features

Overall description
Starting at the transom, there’s a self-bailing fish box located just abaft the bench seat for two. A transom door is standard. The cabin is designed to sleep six, two in the forward V-berth, two in the dinette area that converts to a double berth, and two kids in the mid cabin. The head on the 290 is quite roomy with shower separated by a curtain, a Vacuflush toilet, mirrored vanity and sink.
The 290 Amberjack can be fished hard and you don’t have to sacrifice accommodations or cruising room either. She gets her stability from the 10 ½ foot beam and 11,300 lbs of displacement she carries. The galley comes complete with fiberglass countertops, a dual voltage refrigerator, two-burner electric stove, microwave and sink.
In all, the 290 Amberjack is a nice mix between a fishing boat and a cruiser. It has the space for plenty of company and the fishing features for good offshore capability.

Note: Vessel has a generator that has not been run in awhile. It only has 9 hours and will need extensive repair to get it running. The vessel asking price has been reduced to reflect the generator not being operable.
