Overview

This Quadra deck yacht was custom built in fiberglass in 2006 by Sensation Yachts in New Zealand with an exterior design by Evan Marshall. This yacht has multiple areas for privacy including a private aft deck from the upper deck master stateroom and a skylounge. The key word for interior design is Curve with curved couches, walls, ceiling accents, flooring accents and more. The yacht is powered with commercial rated Caterpillar engines with less than 1000 hours.

Accommodations

The main entry to the boat is from the aft deck through glass and stainless curved sliding doors. Immediately inside is a semi-circular high gloss wood bar with five leather seats, not bar stools but seats with arms and backs. The flooring here is black marble which is set off by accent lighting built into the base of the bar and compliments the marble bar top. Contrasting light marble is set in the floor.

Next forward is the intimate main deck salon with two dark fabric curved couches around an oval glass table with oval mirrored ceiling accents. A very nice feature of this area is the window seats to each side along the extra-large triple windows. Since the yacht has a 28 foot beam the salon is wide even with full covered walk around side decks. Since the side decks are covered less sun gets in so that the shades need not be drawn and the view can be enjoyed.

Forward of this area is the curved Grand Staircase surrounding the three deck elevator.

Next forward is the soundproof media room with large screen projection television. Curves, curves and more curves are part of the interior design of this yacht with a curved sofa for at least eight people with a flush curved wall upholstered in fabric squares for soundproofing a dramatic design. A round glass top cocktail table mirrors the round wood accent highlights in the ceiling. Another full wet bar with padded bar top for quick service when watching a movie. One door leads out to the side deck and the other leads to the forward interior passageway.

Next forward is the formal dining room with a seating for twelve around a rectangular glass top table surrounded by twelve high back upholstered chairs. The floor is the same black marble as the bar area with tan accent marble. As with much of the interior of the yacht there is a mix of satin finish hardwood walls with fabric panels that aid in sound proofing and give a decorators contrast.

The VIP stateroom is on the main deck and is the full beam of the yacht. Access is from a formal hallway with a double entry doors, with a curved step at the door, opposite a curved recessed hall table for display of artwork. The floor is black granite with a tan marble compass rose below curved ceiling accents. The day head is located here.

The VIP stateroom has an anteroom which is a private office with built in desk, storage compartments, a seating area and a large window. Then the VIP itself is full beam with large windows to both sides. There is a centerline island queen berth with night tables to each side. As with other parts of the yacht there is a mixture of surfaces on the walls with gloss hardwoods and contrasting softer fabrics. His and her closets and plentiful cabinets give lots of room for storage and there is a large vanity to one side. The ensuite head has black marble countertops with dual sinks. To one side is a Jacuzzi tub and there is private stall shower and stall toilet.

Upper Deck

The master stateroom, accessed by a curved star case, is on the second deck with a private outdoor deck from the master stateroom seating area. Being so high off the water the view from the windows is great and the window shades need not be closed as often for privacy. The island bed is king size with built in night tables to each side and with padded upholstered base that will prevent those banged knees that can happen with a wood base. Dressers are to both sides and on one side is a vanity. A pop up television separates the master stateroom from the master sitting area along with pocket doors to close off the seating area from the master.

The highlight of the master stateroom is the private sitting area leading to the private aft deck. The sitting area has another round glass top cocktail table with a burl wood base and keeping with the curve theme of the interior design the panoramic windows curve from each side with even a curved settee.

Forward of the master berth is the full beam master bath with Jacuzzi tub, separate shower and his and her areas. One of the interesting features of the bath is one of the sinks with granite counter area is placed on an exterior glass wall with the mirror over the sink suspended over the glass.

Pilothouse

Forward of the master accessed with private stairs from the main deck is the captain's cabin and pilothouse.

The captain's cabin has a double berth, ample storage and an ensuite head with shower. Two very large windows at the same level as the berth allows the captain a spectacular view from the starboard side.

The pilothouse accented in blue leather has a center helm seat with a raised bench seat behind. The floor is traditional teak and holly and there is a captain's office to one side.

Fourth Deck and Skylounge

The skylounge is on the fourth deck with a view forty feet above the water. This is an unusual deck area with a hot tub and lounge area and a fourth outside deck to the aft. The interior has two curved leather couches with two overstuffed chairs with two skylights above.

Lower Deck

The lower deck is reached from a curving circular stairway from the main side entrance on the main deck. The stairs lead to a circular room with the stairs in the center. There are four staterooms here, two with twin berths and two with queen berths. The two cabins with queen berths are mirror cabins along with the two cabins are mirror cabins. That means that each cabin is a mirror of the other so guests have equal accommodations. The cabins with twin berths give mere choices for sleeping arrangements. All have ensuite heads with showers. Under the stairs is a refrigerator for convenience.

Deck Areas

The focal point of the deck area is the main aft deck with a large varnished table that can seat ten or more. The table itself was built in three sections with the middle section removable to allow guests to get in and out of the bench seating without other guests moving out of the way. When there is a large party on board the full table can be used for lots of friends and family. The deck itself is teak covered like all the other outside decks. There are two curving staircases from the aft deck to the swim platform which is extra low to the water for ease of boarding small boats and swimming from the yacht. There are two covered walk around side decks leading to staircases leading up to the second deck and to the forward walkway to the fore deck. Then there are three additional outdoor deck areas, one at the master stateroom level and two  more at the skylounge level, one aft and one with the hot tub forward.
