Overview
A quintessential heavy-displacement cruising boat, the Tayana 37 is designed for one purpose, to go places in relative comfort. Its cutter rig, Baltic stern, thick rubrails, bronze hawsehole, grooved hull, and bowsprit reflect its cruising aspirations. The Tayana has been described as safe and secure with high coamings. high lifelines, and substantial bow and stern pulpits. Mariah’s single forward cabin gives her a wide-open feel in the galley and salon. She has a port U-shaped settee with a nice table and converts into a double berth. The starboard settee folds out for a large single or a double for kids. The galley is aft to port and the is a storage area aft to starboard. The head is forward to port and the forward berth has a portside double bed with hanging space and drawers to starboard. She has a 30-HP Yanmar for her auxiliary power.
