Accommodations

Upon entering the spacious and full beam main salon from the aft deck, the light and view are impressive. Windows and glass doors on 3 sides provide incredible views. All windows tinted with 3M UV block “limo tint” and accented with new linen drapes and treatments. New Brazilian Cherry flooring with a Sedona Onyx inlay by the entry compliment the Honey Onyx counter and cabinet tops.  New white Italian leather couch on port has room for a dozen opposite the Samsung 60” 7100 series, 3D, HD TV on a hydraulically operated lift. Just forward is the new dining room set open to the main salon thanks to the custom Ipe (Brazilian Walnut) topped stairwell enclosure with clear acrylic surround. Passageways forward on each side lead past entry doors from the deck and access to the pilothouse. On deck powder room on stbd side which also leads to the huge country kitchen. Set up for fun while creating gourmet feasts the (almost all) new appliances are excellent and easy to clean. Forward of the chef’s area is the “L” shaped dinette with storage under and behind.

Forward of the kitchen (it’s too nice to call a galley) on stbd is access to the crews quarters and engine room. Crews quarters has a “V” berth stateroom forward, head and shower to port, storage and hanging lockers on stbd. Before entering the engine room is a large stateroom with double bed on port. Centerline access to the engine room with a full size washer and dryer and workbench.

Below deck, down the stairwell from the main salon, the master stateroom features a king size berth with upholstered headboard, oak dressers and vanity, cedar-lined closets, and entertainment center with a new flat screen TV, a “His-and-Hers" bath is equipped with a new, large custom shower with bench, marble flooring and custom fixtures. Located aft are the two guest staterooms, one with a queen size berth and the other with twin berths with an additional Pullman berth. Both of these staterooms offer new flat screen TVs with independent satellite receivers, cedar-lined hanging lockers, and en-suite baths with enclosed shower. In addition, there is a Westinghouse double stack washer/dryer, linen closet and additional storage located in the companionway servicing these staterooms.

Other Notes

Golden Lady was very thoroughly surveyed and mechanically inspected November of 2013. Engines were showing appropriate wear for 300 hours of use since major overhaul. Approximately 150 hours of use has been put on since then. Very knowledgeable and exacting owners have gone from one end to the other and through virtually every system since then with the intention of cruising as owner-operators along the Eastern seaboard and the Caribbean. Some of the items attended to beyond what is shown in the standard listing include:

New KVH M-7 HD Satellite TV system with all new cables capable of feeding 8 different receivers installed by Full Spectrum Marine.

All interior overhead lights changed to low wattage and low heat LEDs.

Every head re-built with genuine Microphor parts. Almost every hose replaced. End result is no odors.

Fresh water system cleaned and pumps replaced with high end marine pumps.

Engine cooling systems flushed, cleaned, pumps rebuilt or replaced.

Engines and Generators serviced by Florida Marine Power.

Many new batteries, hoses, clamps, fittings, fixtures, wall coverings, bed coverings, and more than I can list here.

Unforeseen changes in the owners’ lives make this an opportunity for new owners to live the dream.
