Construction:  

RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”  

The yacht is currently commercially coded to cat 2 

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:  

·         The hull is a hand laid laminate. The first two layers of the underwater section are laminated with isopthalic polyester resin for osmosis protection. 

·         The deck is a one-piece laid fiberglass reinforced polyester laminate, partly polyester, balsa sandwich for thermo and sound isolation. 

·         The deck is glued to the flange on the hull, bolted through and laminated with multi-axial fabric in transom and anchor area. 

·         Special silver anodized aluminium toerail with integrated rubbing strake for protection and reinforcement for hull to deck joint. 

·         Teak laid cockpit seats and cockpit floor. 

Keel & Rudder: 

·         The 2,200kg keel is made of cast iron. 

·         The balanced rudder is a fiberglass reinforced polyester laminate with rudder stock and internal grid, both constructed in stainless steel.

·         1 x Yanmar 3GM30F 27hp diesel engine (September 2011) fitted with sail drive. 

·         Engine moutned on bracket, built into the inner moulding.
