GENERAL

Main Salon

Recreated in the fashion of a classic sailing yacht, the elegant salon in white soft furnishings and high gloss mahogany provides a quiet environment. Exquisite models of Riva motor yachts and other antique craft add to her atmosphere. The seating is ideal for either intimate or larger groups, and there is also a games table allowing for a quick hand of bridge after dinner.

Dining Salon

The traditionally inspired interior from Andrew Sheinman of Pembroke & Ives carries through to the graceful formal dining salon revealing a balance between old and modern design. Separated from the salon by a wall of glass, electronically controlled to become opaque for further privacy, a handsome mahogany dining table for fourteen anchors the room. A magnificent, one of a kind, sterling silver replica (Asprey of London) of the famous schooner AMERICA sits on the sideboard.

Skylounge

Flat screen plasma televisions abound on board and each stateroom features its own media system, but the sky lounge can be transformed into a spectacular media room sporting an elaborate sound system. A small service bar in the cabinet at left caters to guests enjoying the latest in screen entertainment with Surround Sound. Electronic doors open on to an expansive boat deck with an al fresco dining area.

Boat Deck

Both the tenders and wave runners lie on the boat deck. Hydraulic cranes can lift the “toys” and place them in the water on either side of the yacht depending on how she is anchored. 

Aft Deck Lounge

The nautical blue and white theme used throughout the lower deck, extends to the comfortable seating aft on the main deck where not only is there a dining area for fourteen, but also lounge chairs and a built-in sofa perfect for evening cocktails or a breath of fresh air. A full wet bar facilitates guests’ comfort.

Sun Deck

The mast on the Flybridge encompasses a wet bar and grill with a large spa pool forward. The open decks offer unopposed sunning spaces, or are suitable for entertaining large groups. Given the unobstructed views from the full width seating aft of the Flybridge, it’s a perfect spot from which to watch the stars at night, or enjoy an early breakfast al fresco.

OWNER

The master suite is the only room on board totally finished in gloss mahogany. The thick white carpet and pale furnishings offset the rich dark wood panels and crosshatched ceiling beams. Three miles of hand-finished high gloss mahogany slats make up the Venetian blinds used on board CHARISMA; while the custom hardware is designed, engraved and finished in polished nickel. The master suite includes an owner’s study, cedar lined walk-in closets, and an en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi.

Access to the master stateroom is through a separate mahogany paneled study. Facing the window, the views provide stunning backdrops for working from the deep mahogany and leather desk with matching leather accessories. Thick mahogany doors offer extensive privacy to the master suite. Study includes private communications and fax.

GUESTS

The VIP stateroom reflects an oasis of calm. The blue and white color palette evokes a nautical theme and simplicity. With furnishings that are transitional, yet timeless in American terms, Pembroke & Ives drew on old-fashioned traditions of craftsmanship for the antique-style handles. Two further queen-sized staterooms lie on the lower deck too. All have en suite bathrooms featuring mahogany vanities and floors, and are decorated with tasteful nautical artwork.

Two spacious twin guest staterooms also have bathrooms en suite. Similar to the VIP and double staterooms, these reflect the simple and classic style pervasive throughout the yacht. The white walls and cabinetry in the lower deck staterooms are conducive to a fresh, light background. Further, through the back lit lightings, many different levels of mood settings are available in all guest rooms.

CREW

Charisma has accommodations for 12 crew in 6 cabins. Forward on the lower deck, forward of the engine room, the crew mess is to starboard with large pantry, fridge and freezer storage to port. Further forward are four twin berth ensuite cabins with enormous storage below the sole in the typical Feadship fashion. The Captain’s ensuite cabin is abaft the wheelhouse on the port side and another twin ensuite crew cabin is to starboard.

CHARISMA was launched in 1985 by Feadship for an experienced Owner and his knowledgeable Captain. In 2002, in cooperation with Feadship, she was completely refit & refurbished in all respects, transforming her in to the timeless classic yacht she is today.  CHARISMA is truly a yacht that must be seen to be appreciated.
