Description

Accommodations
The Grand Banks 46 Classic has secure, walk-around decks from bow to stern with high railings and large scuppers. A large lazarette is in the aft deck and walk-through transom door leads to swim platform. Access to and from a dinghy are extremely easy on the 46 Classic. 50 amp shore power, cable, phone and fresh water hook-ups are on the inboard side of the transom as well as a hot and cold deck shower.

On the foredeck a danforth style anchor and CRQ style plow anchor are ready to deploy from a very sturdy, integrated raised anchor pulpit. The windlass is mounted on the inboard end of the pulpit and foot control switches are mounted below on the main deck level for safe operation. A dunnage box is centerline on the forward end of the cabin and is a great place to store docking lines. Aft on the port side, steps lead to the trunk cabin top which provides space for the dinghy.  Up a few more steps is the expansive flybridge with lots of seating and an upper helm.

The inside of the boat can be accessed through the aft door, which leads to the huge, full-beam master stateroom or from either of the side doors, which leads to the salon. The salon and breakfast bar are on the main deck and forward are the stairs leading down to the full galley. A guest stateroom, full head and washer/dryer are forward.  The master is aft, and features a split-berth arrangement which gives the space a much larger feel.
