Overview

Amazing example of one of the greatest 3 stateroom cruising boats of all time! Kept on the Great Lakes until 2 years ago she shows like a much, much, newer boat. Continuously upgraded and updated by her current and her previous owners this is a rare find. Bow and stern thrusters make her handling easy. The hydraulic swim platform and tender lift add to the ease of use immensely. Note the actual LOA is now 60’. The Hatteras 53 YF combines all the comforts of a motor yacht with the added versatility of a cockpit. Constructed on the same single-chine hull as the 53 Motor Yacht and Convertible models, the 53 Yacht Fisherman shares their reputation for being a solid beast. She was offered with a choice of two- or three-stateroom interior floorplans with the three-stateroom layout being the most popular. As they were with many Hatteras motor yachts of her era, the central passageway leading aft from the galley splits the engine rooms. Topside, a small observation deck overlooks the cockpit, and the flybridge is arranged with bench seating forward of the helm.

The preferred 3 stateroom layout in the 53 Yacht Fish with a factory queen berth master stateroom. “Top bunk” in mid stateroom has been removed (professionally) to make the lower much easier to use as a double bed. New style flybridge with seating forward of the helm. Galley has been updated with 2 under counter refrigerators, dishwasher, microwave/convection oven and a custom dining table. Forward 2 berths With Head and Shower. Mid Cabin Double bed with closet and head/shower. Master Stateroom aft with factory Queen bed, Head and Shower. All heads have Corian countertops. Aft heads have custom cherry paneling.
