Description

“Brisa Del Mar” is an amazing 1993 Island Packet 32.

The seller has taken immaculate care of this vessel since purchasing it in 2009.

From the dry clean bilge to the tip of the mast this boat shines.

The Yanmar 27hp engine, with only 2850 hrs. has been serviced every 100 hours. It smooth and sound. The cutlass bearing was replaced in 2014.

It was hulled out in May of 2016 and the bottom was treated to a coating of Pettit Trinidad copper anti-fouling paint and while on the hard the sideboards and deck were detailed and buffed. Chain plates and rigging were inspected by a professional rigger last year and passed with flying colors.

This cutter rig has a furling genoa, a full batten mainsail with a Stack Pack and a furling jib with a foot-loose club boom. Covers and sails look great.

The running rigging is new, clean and flexible, all lines leads back to self-tailing winches in the cockpit; making it ideal for single handed sailing.

The binnacle delivers a solid stand for attaching the cockpit folding table, a sturdy handhold and an arrangement of navigational instrument that includes a Ritchie compass, Garmin 740 GPS chart plotter that is networked with the Garmin 1800 HD radar (new in 2016) and Sirius weather, Ray Marine ST60 Windex , Tridata knot meter and depth sounder.

The vessel also has a Autohelm ST400 autopilot, Horizon Matrix VHF with RAM and a SSB radio with modem.

The sailor, helm and instrumentation are protected from the environment by a full length bimini top and a crystal-clear dodger which were all served in 2016, also new sail bags and hatch covers were acquired in January of 2016.

KATO Davits were installed in 2015 which hangs the Avon 9.5’ dingy that is powered by a 3.5 hp. 4 cycle Mercury outboard.

Anchoring the boat, making sure it sticks and easily retrieving the anchor(s) is made possible by the Plow 33# anchor with 20’ of chain and 200’ of rode running over the anchor guides on the pulpit and feeding through the large electric windlass. If needed a second anchor is also located on the pulpit.

The bright work on the boat is stunning: hand sanded and three coats of Cetol delivers the eye appeal that very sailor appreciates.

If you are truly impress when approaching “Brisa Del Mar” wait until you descend through the companionway. From the sole of the boat to the headliners you will be blown away. All the interior wood is pristine, the stainless-steel port light are buffed and shine, the 2017 leather cushions –aft berth, settee, lounge and V-berth gives you the feel that you have just entered a new boat.

The U shape galley includes a stainless steel deep double sink, A propane two burn stove and oven combo, a large refrigerator and a deep freeze freezer. Across from the galley is the electrical panel and the pop up chart table – which is also used to create a separate aft cabin with the hidden pull curtain and large double aft berth

Heading forward is a 4-person settee with a drop-down table, across from the settee is the full lounge that doubles as a single berth. Before you enter the forward cabin, the heads door is on the left. For a 32footer the head is a nice size. It includes a stainless- steel sink, a mirror and a marine head. There is a hanging shower curtain.

The forward cabin provides a large V-berth with a hanging closet and plenty of storage.

The atmosphere below on “ Brisa Del mar” is bright and cheery and cool; that is accomplished by the 16500 BTU air conditioner with SMX a/c – heat and fan control. And the electrical power, when not being supplied by the shore hook up, is created by The Kyocera solar panels delivering 135 watts totally. Easily keeping the charge to the 4- 2013  AGM batteries.
