Overview

The Marine Trader 44 Tri-Cabin comes about as close as you can get to describing the quintessential Taiwan trawler. A popular boat with her all-teak interior, salty appearance, and rugged fiberglass construction are staples in the liveaboard and trawler market. Equally important, the 44 Tri-Cabin had a very practical layout. Two floorplans were offered over the years: this is a desirable three-stateroom layout. A lower helm was standard, and two salon deck doors provide easy deck access. In the aft cabin you are welcomed by all new windows and custom wood wall covering. Topside, deep bulwarks and wide side decks with upgraded fiberglass option make it easy and safe to get around the 44 Tri-Cabin. Additional features include a mast and boom assembly, a big engineroom, generous storage, a spacious flybridge, and a teak swim platform. The teak window frames are water tight . A single120hp Lehman diesel will cruise the Marine Trader 44 economically at 7 knots and reach a top speed of around 11 knots.

This boat went thru an extensive cosmetic refit in 2010/2013 with the galley, master and master head complete redone. The boat would be perfect for a live aboard or a couple looking to cruise into their golden years. Contact us today to schedule your private showing in Clearwater, FL.
