The aft overhang of the flybridge serves two purposes in providing protection to the aft deck below as well as providing ample storage for the optional tender and davit.  Forward of the tender and to centerline is the electronics mast that features a custom dual shelf (Upgrade) allowing for the mounting of an open array radar antenna as well as a SAT TV Dome.  Also forward of the tender and to starboard is a large fiberglass storage cabinet with two door front.  A matching Navy Blue Canvas cover gives protection to the RIB tender.

Because the Zeus power train allows for the engine room to be housed further aft, there is a unique opportunity to create a utility room under the salon floor where the engine room would normally occupy.  Besides making for an even quiter boat there is also plenty of storage room created that is accessible easily from the salon and galley area. A large gas-assisted hatch in the teak and holly sole provides easy access along with a teak grid stairway down to a wide-open storage area.  (Later models feature a much narrower more ladder like entry and are not finished to the degree this 41 was).  The utility area includes the optional combination washer/dryer, access to batteries and tank sight gauges, optional workbench, and optional freezer.

In 2013 the owner working with Grand Banks engineering added TRAC Stabilizers.  This is the only 41EU with Stabilizers and it increased the comfort level of the ride as expected making the boat much more enjoyable especially in seas.  Not an inexpensive addition ($40k plus) but one that makes this beautiful boat ready for cruising and separates it from all other GB 41's.
