THIS HULL PRODUCED BY STARRETT & JENKS IN 1988
It is believed that the molds were sold to Starrett & Jenks who built both the original aft cockpit arrangement and later this center cockpit model. This hull became recognized as a high performance vessel in numerous competitions.
THIS BOAT WAS COMPLETED AND LAUNCHED IN 2009
This boat was completed by the current owner, an experienced Canadian boat builder,after years of meticulous labor. All work has ben done to the highest standards. The custom designed interior is absolutely beautiful. Solid cherry throughout with mahogany cabin soles.
This boat spent its first years in the Great Lakes (fresh water) and has been in Charlotte Harbor for the last 2 1/2 years with light use during the winter seasons.
This custom center cockpit boat affords the owner a very comfortable cruising interior as well as the benefits of excellent blue water performance.
ACCOMMODATIONS The owner's cabin is aft with an athwart ship queen size bed. Numerous cabinets and drawers including a six foot wide storage cabinet in the step to the berth.. There are three opening ports and an overhead hatch. The TV is in this cabin. The passageway forward is on the starboard side with the spacious engine to room center and to port. The passageway includes a cedar lined hanging locker and four louvered doors with shelves within. Forward is the forward facing navigation station with a bench seat, storage under the lifting lid, drawers and instrumentation mounted. Opposite to port the galley provides all the right gear for keeping a well fed crew happy, as well as the cook. The main salon area includes a settee to port and starboard. A bulkhead mounted table on the port side has folding leaves to starboard to accommodate additional diners or host a lively card game. More than ample storage abounds. The head is forward to port off the starboard side passageway leading to the forward cabin. This cabin has two single berths; a larger upper one to port and a single lower to starboard. Chain locker access is forward. |
SALON The salon is a cozy place with an L shaped settee to port and a straight settee to starboard. The table is mounted on the aft bulkhead of the head and has storage shelves behind. The table has two leaves that fold up to provide additional table space for folks sitting on the starboard settee. There are two overhead hatches and two opening ports. Overhead handholds are on both sides. There are plenty of storage spaces. The mahogany cabin sole is a thing of beauty throughout the boat. |
