Accommodations

The vessel is like new with the following layout.  There is a chain/sail locker located in the forepeak.  Next aft is the main cabin with V-berth stateroom forward, head port with salon aft.  The salon is fitted with a dinette and single quarter berth with galley port.  The interior of the vessel is fitted with mahogany wood trim, teak and holly soles along with tile in the heads and granite counters in the galley.  The bulkheads are painted plywood along with wood batten headliner and LED lighting.  Exiting the main cabin is the center cockpit with helm station immediately aft.  Next is the aft stateroom with two single bunks and en suite head.  The weather decks are painted nonskid along with the entire exterior of the vessel with the use of Awlgrip marine finishes.  The weather decks are fitted with short bulwarks and aluminum rails.

Remarks

HANNIBAL is an exemplary example of a classic Chesapeake Bug Eye ketch that has lived a privileged life.  She began her life as an emissary for Crocs shoes and subsequently retired.  As of her "retirement", HANNIBAL spent two years going through a massive redesign and total rebuild from 2010 - 2012.  This refit was shared between Knight & Carver Marine in San Diego and then completed at Baja Naval Shipyard in Ensenada Mexico.

Almost everything on board, from her keel/centerboard to her sails, is new.  Her layout has changed and all equipment is new as well.  All of the electrical system has also been renewed and her generator has less than 200 hours.  The main engine has fewer than 600 hours as of October 2017!

From her mechanical, electrical and plumbing, to her cosmetics and sail inventory, HANNIBAL is in ready-to-go condition and available on very buyer friendly lease purchase terms.
