Overview

Bill Shaw designed Pearson 40 Racer/Cruiser at a STEAL!

This rare and well-loved design was in production from 1979 to 1981, and only 71 were produced. They have proven themselves as offshore racers and cruising boats. Bill Shaw himself says that this was one of his favorite and most seaworthy designs. 

This one is midway through being rebuilt from the inside. Her Westerbeke runs great and has low hours, and her profile is stunning. Her current owner has gutted the interior, has ordered new standing rigging for her. Because the interior is gutted, there are no secrets--bulkeads, tabbing, glass work, backing plates, etc., are all visible for inspection.
