Engine & Mechanical Equipment

The original Caterpillar 3196 660hp engines were replaced in late 2003 with a new pair of the CAT 705hp C-12's (now with 630 original hours as of 16 Dec 2014) that were built at the Caterpillar Marine Engine facility. Exterior Equipment

This boat features a very large cockpit with aft-facing seating, 3 large lazarettes, transom door to access the swim platform and engine room access through a large opening lift-up door which allows you to easily walk below into the engine room. Going forward, there are full-width sidedecks and stainless steel handrails leading forward on both port & starboard, which make accessing the foredeck extremely easy and safe. Helm/Main Deck

Enter the helm deck from the cockpit. There is a large L-settee on the port-side with storage below. There is a straight settee to starboard with storage below. Forward of the settees are two custom benchseats that are lavishly finished in high gloss with custom-built storage areas on the back-sides of each. Outboard of each benchseat, there is a custom-built teak storage area for binoculars, cellphone, etc. Forward of the starboard bench seat is the helm, which features Caterpillar electronic and analog gauges. Above the engine panel is the himalaya containing most of the electronics. On the port-side, forward of the benchseat, is a bar featuring glass storage, bottle storage, and a Corian cutting board integrated into the opening front door; a large chart locker sits on the cabintop forward of the bar. There is a custom-built electronics locker to port. The port benchseat has a U-line Icemaker underneath and the starboard benchseat has a new 2013 Isotherm refrigerator. All helm deck cushions have navy blue piping. The aft area of the helm deck is enclosed in EZ2CY. The aft section can be simply unzipped at the bottom and lifted up to the helm deck overhead for additional ventilation. There are two 16,000BTU MarineAir a/c units in the helm deck. Solid teak deak. Two hardtop hatches.

Salon/Dining

The salon features a U-shaped settee, finished in blue ultra-suede, with a pull-out berth, storage cabinets above the settee (outboard), and storage below the settee. Opposite the settee is the TV locker, which houses a Samsung 22" flatscreen LCD TV (new in Sept 2010) on a custom-built swivel bracket, which allows you to watch TV at the salon or from the helm deck. There are two MarineAir a/c units below. The settee has double folding leaves and built-in stowage, deck hatch and two opening ports. Teak and holly cabin sole throughout below.

Galley

The galley is U-shaped and opposite the salon settee. It features 2 Grunert holding plate refrigerators with opening teak doors, and Grunert freezer accessed through a lid on the countertop. Seaward propane stove/oven and two 20-lb. propane tanks located under the aft helmdeck L-settee. There is a Sharp Microwave/Convection Oven aft and the sink is located forward. Master Stateroom

The master stateroom is forward and features a centerline berth with easy access on either side and reading lamps. A large cedar-lined hanging locker, a custom-built locker to starboard and numerous drawers provide for plenty of storage. There is a hatch above the berth and two opening ports (port & stbd). This stateroom also features an ensuite head with stall shower. There is a custom-built locker on the starboard side for additional storage or for the installation of a Flatscreen TV.
