This Hunter 450 Passage is located in Texas and is ready to go. She is well equipped with dual zone air conditioning, 8Kw Kohler generator, Grunnert refrigeration, wind generator, water maker, 2-4D batteries new, shoal draft 5'6", electric halyard winch and washer/dryer.
The Hunter 450 Center Cockpit offers two very spacious sleeping cabins, two heads, and a very large salon with attached galley. Starting forward is the guest head with shower. Next aft is the very well appointed guest cabin with pullman berth to starboard, a comfortable settee to port with a hanging locker to the right, storage in drawers, and another hanging locker to the left (aft).
A beautiful feature of this design is the main salon, perfect for passage making or entertaining guests and crew. There is a curved shaped settee to starboard with a large dining table. There is a straight settee to port with an entertainment cabinet forward.
The galley is aft to port configured in a "U" shape design and is both safe to work in while underway and is very accommodating at anchor or dockside. The cockpit is accessed by a functional and attractive semi-spiral stairway leading up. Opposite to starboard is the forward facing navigation station with chart table designed for full size charts and instruments positioned for optimum viewing - located easily accessible to the companionway stairs as well.
The passageway to the owner's cabin is aft of the nav table followed by the head with vanity. This can also serve as a day head. This head features an environmentally friendly, no fuss, no muss and no odor composting toilet. The owner's cabin features a full-size king size berth offset slightly to port. There is also the separate stall shower and bathtub (insta hot water unit) forward to port.
The aft owner's stateroom is extremely large rivaling yachts twice her size. A very special feature of this cabin is the enormous volume of space for relaxing and sleeping.
The guest stateroom offers luxurious accommodations in a well-appointed atmosphere. The pullman berth offset to starboard is a full double with a settee to port, hanging locker aft and a group of drawers forward. This cabin offers an en-suite head all the way forward for optimum privacy.
The galley is designed to function perfectly while underway and features a "U" shaped layout.
Building in Florida, Hunter Yachts use the finest materials including Vinylester resins, Kevlar hull reinforcements, and lead ballast. The hull to deck joint is through bolted. Bulkheads and chain plates are bonded directly to the hull to spread the loads evenly throughout.
A specially designed Whitlock rack and pinion steering system provides smooth control with the proper amount of feedback. The composite rudder and post are designed to be corrosion free and stronger than conventional gear.
