Overview

The " Penrose"First and foremost, Penrose is a beautiful yacht above and below decks.  With her canoe stern, cutter rig, solid fiberglass construction, and full keel design, she is ready to take you anywhere you have the time and desire to go.  Used as a coastal cruiser, she will delight you with her predictable, easy sailing characteristics and exquisite teak interior.  Offshore, her substantial displacement and intelligently laid out sail handling controls allow for safe and comfortable passage-making.
Her current owners are very experienced sailors who have taken excellent care of Penrose.  They have upgraded or added sails, solar and wind generator, chart plotters, heating and airconditioning, communication and safety gear.  She is ready for her next owners so you can start enjoying her many attributes immediately.

Accommodations
The full width head compartment in the forepeak features a manual Raritan head, a large vanity with Italian marble counter top, varnished teak cabinetry providing plenty of storage, a roomy shower area, and a full length mirror.  There is access to the anchor locker from this compartment.
Next, aft to port is a queen sized pullman berth with super comfortable crushed velour cushions.  Drawers in the berth face a large double handing locker to starboard to hold your gear and clothing.
The main cabin has a lovely and very substantial double drop-leaf centerline dining table.  U-shaped prot and in-line starboard settees both have storage inside and triple lockers outboard above the berth backs.  A Jensen 12 volt flat screen TV is mounted on the forward end bulkhead, above the port settee and is connected to a powered HD antenna--you can also stream your favorite movies or show via the boat's built-in WiFi system.   The forward facing nav station is located at the forward end of the starboard settee with a lift-up chart table and newly rebuilt, varnished area for thoughtfully laid out, brand new instrumentation and communication equipment.
The U shaped galley feels very secure under way and very complete  under all conditions.  The deep double sinks are properly located on centerline with hot and cold pressure water faucet, bronze fresh water hand pump and a new pressure salt water faucet.  The gimbaled  four burner propane stove with over and large icebox with Adler-Barbour DC refrigeration enables you to easily provide meals for a full crew.
Opposite the galley to starboard is the enclosed aft cabin with a double berth and large hanging locker offering private accommodations for a second couple.
