Overview

Hull #5 of this popular design. Hull and deck were built by Sceptre Yachts in 1982 and finished by the owner in a 18 month span in 1984.

Hull

A custom build in '82/84' with the hull and deck by Sceptre Yachts and finished by the owner at a very high standard. Solid fiberglass hull and balsa coring on the deck.

Galley

Huge/bright galley area w/4 burner Mariner propane stove and oven. Very large counter loading separate fridge and freezer compartments w/holding plate/engine driven/110V freezer unit. Deep double S/S sinks and pressure water. A convenient  raw water hand pump for rinse up and save water. Lots of storage. A adjacent breakfast nook/dining area.

Accommodations

Custom layout and no inside wheel station gives the interior extra volume against the standard layouts. In the early '80's when this boat was built there was nothing as "deck salon" but many would recognize it immediately as that. From the companion forward there is a quarter cabin to starboard. Head, shower and Sitz bath to port. A breakfast nook dinette/dining area across from the galley that could be used a berth if needed. Huge galley area and storage aplenty. Going forward it is a sunken salon/lounge area with seating port and starboard that could be used as for berths as well. Forward there is the master stateroom with ample room. Lots of drawers, hanging locker space and storae again. Very comfortable/cozy interior.
Dickinsen Antarctic diesel heater w/day tank
Espar D4L forced air diesel heater system with w/ various outlets

Master Head

Raritan marine toilet. A Sitz/shower arrangement and a Paloma propane instant hot water unit.

Deck Equipment

Albatross 12V anchor winch. Custom hard top w/a sun hatch w appropriate canvas. Bow anchor locker with spare fenders etc and storage. Bruce 22 lbs. anchor w/200' 3/8" galvanized chain and 200' 1/2" nylon rode. 2nd anchor: Danforth 20 lbs. w/20' 3/8" galvanized chain and 250' 1/2" nylon rode.
