Overview

Immaculate Oyster 55 Sovereign with American Oak Andrew Winch interior.  Immaculately maintained through life and  recently refitted.

Broker's Comments

A rare beast this is a really nice example of the Sovereign Oyster with American Oak Andrew Winch interior.  Only in her second ownership she has been thoroughly maintained through life. In recent years she has under gone an extensive programme of maintenance and upgrades.

Construction

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

·         Built by Oyster Marine in 1994, hull number 33, to a Holman & Pye design.

·         GRP hull is laid up single skin with structural stringers and floors to Lloyds approved design specification. 

·         Hull colour white with Oyster blue double boot top and cove lines. 

·         Deck structure moulded in GRP with balsa core for strength and insulation.

·         Hull and deck structure are moulded in a Lloyds approved facility. 

·         Deck saloon. 

·         “Sovereign” style deck saloon superstructure with “eyebrow”, teak inlay, stainless steel handrails and black-anodised windows. 

·         Teak laid decks.

·         Caulking replaced, 2008. 

·         Anodised alloy toerail. 

·         Extended transom incorporates bathing platform trimmed with teak. 

·         Draining gas locker moulded into aft deck with stowage for 6 gas cylinders.
