Overview

Good looking German Frers as only really Nautor can. The Swan 46 is the most successful marque ever produced by this iconic yard.

SPECIFICATION

Construction:


Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

·         The hull is made of solid hand laid fibreglass with marine grade water proof plywood bulkheads laminated to hull and deck.

·         Stringers are made of fibreglass layups over foam cores.

·         The deck is made of foam cored GRP sandwich construction, single laminate, with alum back up plates under all deck fittings.

·         Osmosis treatment done at Lyman Morse in 2007, and no moisture issues detected in the underbody survey in 2011; owner has copies of invoices etc.

·         Insurance survey available from August 2011.

·         Teak laid decks – glued.

·         Aluminium toe rails (painted 2011).


Keel & Rudder:

·         Rudder replaced (supplied by Nautor) in 2011 including new bearing at Wayfarer’s in Maine; topsides and toe rails also repainted at the same time.

·         PORT CALL is a centerboard version, drawing 5.7’ with the board up, and 9.5’ with the board down; excellent for Florida/Chesapeake and the cape; fibreglass centerboard with hydraulic ram actuator, controls in cockpit and with angle indicator.

·         1 x Yanmar 4JH3-TE 4-cylinder diesel with fresh water cooling & heat exchanger installed n 2006.

·         Emer start button for engine installed 2012 (at engine).
