Everglades 435 CC Yacht Review

Everglades 435 CC Yacht ReviewGet to the most desired locations in a hurry with the Everglades 435 CC. She has a true deep-V hull, a top speed above 50 knots, and is a four outboard fishing boat. This is a rare combination that most would have trouble explaining. But it works. Choppy conditions aren’t considered a threat to this vessel. The keeps going and gets the job done when times are rough. The vessel comes standard with four Yamaha four-stroke outboards with 300 horsepower. An alternative option is available with four Yamaha four-stroke outboards with 350 horsepower. The similarities between the 425 CC and a Whaler are clear: strength, safety, and engineering.

Construction

The Everglades 425 CC is highly influenced by Whaler understanding. The empty spaces between its liner and hull below the deck are filled with closed-cell foam. The mechanism itself may seem familiar, but how it is done is not. The empty areas are not injected with foam after assemblage. Instead, foam segments are created outside of the boat in casts that fit the shape of the hull. Then, they are sprayed with resin and chopped strand before they are bonded to the hull. After this, the liner is mounted. The method is called RAMCAP. Since the foam only extends to the sharp angle of the hull, space in the sides is available for storage. Along either side there are four hatches that provide quick access to compartments. Farther back, long flaps on both sides open for rod storage and shore power hookups.

Accommodations

This boat features two sixty gallon live wells, a 45 gallon rear freezer for bait, and a 225 gallon fish box toward the front. There is also a dedicated station to get bait ready with ten different tackle compartments and a locker underneath. Everything you bring onto this vessel will have a place to be kept; rods included. Up to forty rods can be stored in the different areas available on the boat.

The console cabin has a V-berth, shower, vanity, television, and an air conditioner. Smaller Whalers usually don’t have anything to protect you from harsh conditions, but that won’t happen with the standard hard top on the 435 CC. Shade and shelter are made a priority. An optional rear cockpit shade is also available if you would like to be a little cooler.
