Riviera 6000 SY Yacht Review

Riviera 6000 SY Yacht ReviewThe Riviera 6000 SY is enlightening the strain on how to turn good into best. The design of this yacht is very comparable to the 58. The right-side guest cabin with twin bunks, two heads each with shower stalls, and the VIP, are all unchanged except they are larger. There is no more walk in closet in the master; it has been replaced with a door that leads to the crews’ room and storage spot. Through a hatch, there is complete access to the cockpit and engine room. Along the portside the head still rests but it is twenty percent longer—this means a bigger walk in shower. For the stateroom, the windows have to option of becoming opaque electronically, allowing for more privacy.

There are two other options available. In one, the seating area turns into a bunk room, and in the Presidential Option, the stateroom is removed allowing the head and master more space.

Performance

This yacht is designed with excellent acoustical insulation that really mitigates noise while on the go. The quality of everything this boat has to offer really makes it an impressive find. The yacht accelerates well and maintains its speed flawlessly.

Construction

The 6000 doesn’t have the exact same hull as the 58. This is because Riviera added a keel that comes out of the stem and stops about six feet in front of the pods. This is to enhance tracking and stability while the vessel is anchored. Most of Riviera’s earlier boats all had keels, but they got rid of them when they started using pod drives. Since it has worked out so flawlessly with this model, I would expect them to continue this method in the future.

There is a lot more glass in the 6000. There are additional and enormous ports below deck, primarily in the rear master and on the lateral windows of the main deck. Above, there are three glass sections that really brighten up the area. In the cockpit, you will find a moon roof in the front and another in the overhang. The third section is in the galley and it can be covered with a shade that retracts.
