Numarine 70 Hardtop Yacht Review

Numarine 70 Hardtop Yacht ReviewThe 70 Hardtop was designed with a focus on technology and construction. It was designed to stand out from the rest and be a yacht that the designer would want to use. Desire and know-how went into the design, and it truly stands out.

Accommodations

To start, there is huge sunroof overhead that allows the sun to shine through and the air to sneak in. The dinette at the port of the help offers an area for friends and family to enjoy each other’s company and the scenery while on the go. For longer cruises, this is the place to be. The boat itself is fully customizable and you are not limited to decisions between different types of woods. The structural bulkheads are the only areas that don’t come with an option. Almost everything for Numarine is constructed at their location, making it easy for customization. CNC waterjets, a glass shop, and its own metal shop are just of the few amenities available. Some have three state rooms and a down galley, while others are constructed with an upper galley and four staterooms. Both have crews cabins, which can be switched for a garage is necessary. A head is conveniently located in the back for sunbathers and those that enjoy watersports. A large swim platform is also incorporated.

Performance

Adjustments lie at your fingertips while at the helm and the ride itself is quiet and comfortable. Close to the centerline, there is one integral fuel line. Water breaks softly about amidships and flutters far to the sides. There are two 1150 horsepower Caterpillar C18 ACERTs. There is minimal squeaking and scraping as you go, allowing for a relaxing voyage.

Construction

All Numarine models are made using vacuum infusion and multiaxial E-glass with PVC closed cell foam and vinylester resin in the bulkheads. On all longitudinals, carbon fiber caps are utilized. For stronger enforcement, additional aramid and carbon fibers are used. All mechanisms on the deck are post-cured and it is nearly impossible to find a blemish or bleed. Honeycomb coring is used in the interior cabinetry to keep the heaviness of the vessel under control. It is said they are achieving strength to weight ratio that it optimal, and a glass to resin ratio of sixty percent.
